Tennis star Serena Williams suffered a slight injury a few hours before her three set victory over Svetlana Kuznetsova at the French Open quarterfinals.
The slight injury was an irritation on her pinky finger caused by the massive diamond ring she was wearing on her right finger.
Serena’s trainer applied ointment on the affected area and taped it up. The tennis star didn’t remove the ring and went on to win 2 sets out of 3 to advance to the semi-finals of the Roland Garros event.
