Ribery and Benzema Tried For Paying For s*x With an Under-Age Prostitute.

French footballers Franck Ribery and Karim Benzema are to go on trial in Paris on charges of paying for s*x with an under-age prostitute.

Under French law, paid s*x with someone under the age of 18 is regarded as s*x with a minor- punishable by three years in prison and €45,000 fine.

Algerian-born Ms Zahia Dehar had told investigators that neither footballer had known her real age at the time of their affairs- because she had lied to them.

But soliciting for s*x from a prostitute under 18 in France is a crime even albeit the 15 years legal age of consenting s*x.

Only recently President Goodluck Jonathan inaugurated the National Space Council and entrusted it to make Nigeria produce motor vehicles, boats and aircrafts in short notice. This Tuesday, the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) presented the first exclusively Nigerian motorcycle, NASENI M1, in Nnewi, Anambra State.

The 80C engine motorcycle was designed and manufactured by the National Engineering Design and Development Institute (Nnewi), a subsidiary of NASENI.

Nollywood actor and movie producer Gbenga Oyeyiga's marriage to his banker wife Loade has ended after he allegedly beat her so badly she ended up in hospital and stayed there for three weeks in January 2013. According to close friends of Lolade, the January beating was not the first time as he had battered her severally in the past, but it was the last straw. Not only was Gbenga arrested for battery, his wife was also preparing to drag him to court but decided to drop the case.

Red Cross Drops Tonto Dikeh and Stella Damasus As Brand Ambassadors

Few weeks ago, Olu Jacobs, Alex Usifo Omiagbo, Joke Silva, Tonto Dikeh, Stella Damasus, 2Face Idibia, P-Sqaure, Davido, 9ice, Banky W, Naeto C, Ali Baba Don Jazzy, Julius Agwu, AY among others were honoured with a Red Cross Society of Nigeria, ambassadorship deal.
Some Nollywood names have been screened out now and they include Stella Damascus and Tonto Dikeh.
According to reports, the duo didn’t meet the scrutiny standard of a Red Cross ambassador. The duo did not pass the health and personality exercise arraigned by the Society.
Tonto asides her heavy tattoos also had personality problems, especially the excess use of tobacco. While Stella was screened out from the race because of a recent marriage scandal between fellow actress Doris Simeon’s husband and her.
According to the Red Cross, personality reputation was necessary and such would not be welcomed by the Society.

BBA: Pokello’s Father Comments On Her S*x-tape

The s*x-tape of Big Brother Africa Zimbabwean representative Pokello Nare was leaked and widely spread on the internet few weeks after the show began and it tainted her image badly.

According to Ghafla, Pokello’s father, Rtd Col Nare says the incident does not mean his daughter has loose morals as she had a boyfriend and was enjoying herself in private.

‘The video footage was not meant for public consumption and the person who leaked it should be guilty of character assassination. My daughter has a strong personality and would not be weakened by that. She is a successful businesswoman’ said Rtd Col Nare

NEMA warns Lagosians against severe weather&heavy rain tomorrow

 

 

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has warned that there will be severe weather and heavy rainfall in Lagos tomorrow Tuesday June 18th.

NEMA spokesperson, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the early warning is based on alerts received from the African Centre of Meterological Applications for Development based in Niamey, Niger Republic. 

He said:

 

“In Nigeria, Lagos and its environs are expected to experience torrential rainfall from about 50 mm 24h: Confidence medium means that all stakeholders must be prepared to take all precautionary steps against leaving the warning unattended. 

“On this premise, NEMA is passionately imploring all segments of Nigerian society in the southern part of Nigeria to steps against exposing themselves to the dangers at hand,”

“Those living in the flood plains should relocate to higher (areas) when they are experiencing heavy accumulation of flood water"NEMA is also using this medium to warn parents sending their wards on any errands while the rain is falling as well as stop dumping of refuse on the drain,” the statement said.

Chinedu Ikedieze to bury late dad this Saturday

Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze's late father, Mr Michael Ogbonnaya Ikedieze, who died May 18th, will be buried this Saturday June 22nd at their hometown of Uzuakoli in Abia State.
