Yesterday, we reported the building rift between two of Nollywood’s most recognisable actresses, Stella Damasus and Toyin Aimakhu. As at the time of our first report, Toyin Aimahku hadn’t responded to Stella’s rant but knowing her, we always knew it wouldn’t be long before she would respond.
And when she finally did, she went in really hard, wondering why Stella just deemed it fit to reply her after a period of 8 months.
Although the Yoruba actress deleted her post on Instagram shortly after, she had shared the photo and comment below, warning Stella Damasus not to dare respond.

South Africanduo, Mafikizolo to name over 35 artistes for first nationwide tour

South African duo, Mafikizolo will have the support of over 35 artistes for their first nationwide tour, ‘The Reunited Tour 2015. Photo: BHM
South African duo, Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkew popularly known as Mafikizolo, will have the company of over 35 artistes billed to perform during their first nationwide tour dubbed The Reunited Tour 2015.
According to the organisers, the music concert will feature 35 artists. Although the acts have not bee named yet, the list will include many the ‘Khona’ singers have featured on their albums at one time or the other.
The 6-week tour, which is aimed at giving back to their South African fans, will kick off at Morula Sun inTshwane on Saturday, March 14, 2015 and continue with a stop at Meropa Casino in Polokwane on March 28.
The tour shifts to the Cape Town International Convention Centre on April 4, Rose Gardens Bloemfontein on April 11, Port Elizabeth on April 18 before the tour will end at Johannesburg onFreedom Day, April 27 at Orlando Stadium in Soweto with a huge concert planned for the night.

Boy kills brother in Yobe state, removes his eyes, tongue

A boy in Daya Village, Fika LGA of Yobe State, today Monday March 31st allegedly killed his younger brother and removed his tongue and eyes, Premium Times reports
A resident of Daya, Ishmail Daya, said that the younger boy had gone missing three days ago and that while a search was going on in the village, the older brother was found with his brother’s tongue and eyes.
“He killed his younger brother and buried him on his father’s farmland,” Ishmail said.
Both the alleged killer and the victim are believed to be underage. He insisted that there had been no prior quarrel between the siblings.

The Residents Near Shagari Plaza, Customers Flee As Explosion Takes Place In Premises

Customers and residents near the Shagari plaza on Moshood Abiola way, Garki Area one in Abuja all fled for their lives this evening as explosions occurred within the premises.
At around 5:17pm this evening, a loud noise was heard and suddenly another one heard and it kept occurring for some minutes which left people confused and suspected it was Islamic sect, Boko Haram at work again.

But according to sources, it was a gas cylinder that exploded and a Jeep packed beside it also went up in flames. The fire spread and other cylinders caught fire.
The gas retailer who tried to save some money he had made during the day which was kept under one of the cylinders rushed for it, but was also caught up in the fire. He is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, and soldiers have been sent to the plaza to monitor activities.

Mr Chidi Lloyd Discharged And Acquitted Of Murder case

Majority Leader of the Rivers House of Assembly, Mr. Chidi Lloyd has been discharged and acquitted this morning by a High Court in Port Harcourt after been charged of attempted murder.
Mr Lloyd was alleged to have hit one Mr Michael Chinda on the head with a mace during a fight between supporters of Governor Ameachi and some legislators in 2013 and was arrested and charged for attempted murder.
While delivering the judgement, the judge said, there was nothing the court could do in the matter as the police was not willing to prosecute the case further, so he was discharged and acquitted.
