 United Family International Church (UFIC) founder Emmanuel Makandiwa (pictured) has threatened to walk on Kariba waters to confound those who doubt his powers. Makandiwa made the claim three weeks ago just before he jetted out to the United States. His spokesperson Pastor Prime Kufa said the "man of God did not directly challenge anyone", but was not amused by people who doubt him. "All he said was people should not doubt miracles. They just need to believe and anything is possible even walking on water. he said if people are saying he is using evil spirits then they should come and be witnesses to his works or offer deliverance. He said God is able to make him walk on water if need be so that his critics can believe," said Pastor Kufakunesu. This is not the first time that Makandiwa has threatened to repeat the miracle performed by Jesus Christ. "Why did Jesus Christ walk on water when He could use the available boats?" Makandiwa said in a January 2013 sermon. The charismatic preacher has stirred controversy with his 'miracles' including one which a baby was reportedly born after a 'three-day gestation period'. His UFI church is drawing crowds of up to 60,000 people, most of whom are reportedly following his miracles. This claim is supported by the fact that during his absence less than half of the total number of people who usually attend Makandiwa's services will be present. As soon as he returns, the church gets full with several thousands of people attending his service in overflow tents. Makandiwa told his followers to brace for more miracles declaring "people with disabilities will be healed, bald heads will grow hair while others without teeth will develop new teeth." |

If everything goes according to plan, Wizkid will soon be returning to
his former music label, EME Music Group, this is according to a
reliable industry source. The source revealed to me exclusively that
Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple
of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them
working together again.
"Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid." The source said I hear in the new contract being drafted, EME will not take a dime from Wizkid's international deals. The Fear of Boko Haram: Former IGP, Ringim, Reportedly Seeking Asylum in the UK
It
has been reported that Nigeria’s immediate past Inspector-General of
Police (IGP), Mr. Hafiz Ringim, may be seeking asylum in the United
Kingdom.
As reported by Daily Sun, shortly after his sack on January 25, 2012,
Ringim quietly relocated to the UK and has not stepped foot on Nigerian
soil, family sources said. Daily Sun gathered that Ringim’s application
for asylum is before the UK Border Agency.
Ringim’s request is reportedly hinged on fears that Islamic
militants, Boko Haram, may kill him should he return to Nigeria. Ringim
reportedly told the agency that his lucky escape in the June 2011
bombing of the Force Headquarters in Abuja, by Boko Haram, a few days
after he threatened in Maiduguri, Borno State, to crush the group,
fuelled fears he was a prime target.
The ex-IGP was also said to have drawn the attention of the British
officials to the June 6, 2011 murder of his deputy in office, Alhaji
Abubakar Ningi. Also killed in the attack were Ningi’s police orderly
and driver. Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the killings. Sources
said that he informed the British agency that former military chiefs
have not been spared by the Islamic militants.

Kano Motor Park Blasts: Abuja Bus Park Operators Beef Up Security
The recent suicide bomb attack which claimed the lives of several
individuals in Sabon Gari, Kano state has prompted bus park operatives
in and around Abuja to beef up security in a bid to prevent any form of
reoccurrence.
Chairman of the Task Force, Jabi Park, Joseph Onu revealed that extra
measures have been taken to safeguard lives and properties of their
customers.
He also stated that they have secured the assistance of security
operatives who conduct thorough searches on buses and passengers.
