“LEAVE ME ALONE…I have done my best helping you get into the music scene” Babatunde Zollner, Former manager to nollywood actor cum musician, Gabriel Afolayan cries out.
This comes as a shock when Babatunde Zollner lamented bitterly, that
his former artiste, Gabriel Afolayan aka G fresh should leave him alone,
an insider make it very clear that the both parties who met few years
back and worked together for over a year plus, parted few months ago and
since then, Gabriel Afolayan has been on his former manager’s trail for
only God knows, according to our source, Babatunde Zollner worked with
Gabriel Afolayan with all his heart and help did all his best bringing
Gabriel into the music industry, through his song “Kokoro ife”. And also
release few other singles
I really do not know why Gabriel Afolayan should do that to a manager
who worked for him selflessly, so many times, his former manager would
call him, he would ignore the calls without returning any of them, he
got him shows after they had issues, Gabriel ignored the shows because
they don’t work together anymore, says an insider, who pleaded
anonymity.
The CEO HABDULL MEDIA which happens to be the younger brother to
D’banj’s former manager, Bankuli also tried settling the issue between
them, but Gabriel insisted, he continues…Gabriel and his new team of
management recently visited the home of his former manager uninvited,
meeting the parent at home, and swept away 2 awards belonging to himself
without prior notice from Babatunde Zollner.
When contacted via phone to confirm the reports, the formal manager
lamented bitter saying, all I want is for him to leave me alone, I owe
him nothing rather he is the one owing me, but I have handed-over
everything to God, I just want Gabriel Afolayan to leave me alone, I
have tried my best helping him get into the music scene with his kokoro
ife song
Babatunde Zollner, who’s the CEO, Zollner Talent management and
currently the management company for UK base artiste, Omo Akin, whose
song “Do me Wayo” is currently enjoying massive air-play across the
country,
And event manager and a reporter who also pleaded anonymity pointed
out that Gabriel’s new management, Cream entertainment, headed by
Obasijaude, has been a major factor as to why the Kokoro ife’s crooner
is yet to hit the spotlight, as the management is known for turning
press men down without any sense of remorse, all efforts to contact
Gabriel Afolayan and his new management to confirm and also hear their
own side of the story prove abortive as at the time of filing this
report
