Akon denies discriminating against dark-skinned girls in Ghana
A Ghanaian fashion blogger, FashionGhana.com, last week claimed that Akon and Wizkid requested for only light-skinned models and refused dark-skinned ones from appearing in their music video. (If you missed it, check on it here). Well, Akon says the reports is absolutely false.
"That doesn't even make any sense, that don't make no sense at all" he told TMZ. When asked again if the story was false, Akon laughed and said 'It's absolutely not true"
Wizkid, KCEE, Victoria Kimani to perform at Channel O Awards

Moses has been named the Nigerian Footballer of the Year for 2013 at
the sports awards ceremony held in Lagos yesterday in recognition of his
recent contributions towards the Super Eagles success.
Moses, 22, who is on a season-long loan from Chelsea, beat his team mate Mikel Obi to the award after members of the public voted for a three-man shortlist that included the two of them and Sunday Mba.
Mikel, however, was voted Nigerian Sportsman of the Year, while former Super Falcons striker Perpetua Nwokocha was named Female Footballer of the Year.
At the elaborate ceremony which held at the Muson Centre in Onikan in Lagos, Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, picked up the Nigerian Coach of the Year Award. Nigerian Football Federation president Alhaji Aminu Maigari, was named Sports Administrator of the Year, while Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State won the Sports Governor of the Year Award.
Sprinter and long jump queen Blessing Okagbare won the Track and Field Star of the Year award while junior athlete Divine Oduduru won the Discovery of the Year Award.
Portugal-based table tennis star Aruna Quadri won the Sports Personality of the Year Award, beating Olumide Oyedeji and Ike Diogu of the Nigerian basketball team De Tigers.
Blessing Okagbare also won the Sports Woman of the Year Award in recognition of her heroics at this year's World athletics Championships.
