Veteran Nollywood actor, Peter Bunor says he has been abandoned by members of his profession, Nollywood since he was struck with a deadly stroke.
In a recent interview with Vanguard, the
Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State-born actor narrated how since his ordeal, he
is yet to receive a phone call from any of his former colleges not to
talk of assistance.
‘Since this thing happened, there has
been no single actor that called me to ask about my condition. It is a
shame on their part. Would they say they don’t know that I am sick?’, the actor asked.
Bunor started his acting career with
Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Jos in the 80s before featuring in
the network’s successful series ‘Cock Crow at Dawn’ and then ‘Mirror in the Sun’. At the advent of Nollywood, he took a prominent part in the 1994 blockbuster, ‘Glamour Girls’.
