Angry Mobs Demolish PHCN Lagos Office Over Crazy Bills

An angry mob in Abaranje, Ikotun area Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, went on the rampage and attacked the staff of Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, and destroyed their property.
The attack which took place at the weekend followed what electricity consumers in the area described as the crazy electricity bills slammed on them by the PHCN workers.

The police at Ikotun division intervened and brought the situation under control before they could set the office ablaze.
A policeman identified as Mathew was severly macheted during the fracas and he is critically lying at Igando General Hospital where doctors are battling to save his life.

Its no long a gist that that HKN Boss Davido and his cousins, SinaRambo & B-Red even had to physically fight themselves because the cousins were not happy that Davido was getting all the shine.

B-Red got himself a new deal with another company after both cousins decided on leaving the label.
Sina Rambo, though denied the reports in a separate interview with another media house, but according to a recent interview,here's what Davido had to say about the whole issue when HipHopWorld asked him about it.

"B-Red & Sina Rambo, people knew they were with me for about two years. But earlier this year, I felt like it’s time for them to start their own stuff. I’m sure they were even tired of being in the shadow of me and all that.

B-Red, I think has a management deal elsewhere with another company, I’m not sure exactly, but they shot his video for him and everything. And Sina is in America working on some new material. I really want them to stand on their own because they’re talented and need to be heard, instead of them being behind me all the time. We still family”.

Davido may be recruiting new soldiers to replace the ‘lost’ ones. In March, he had signed Ghanaian rapper Deekay and more recently added singer Orezi to his list.

Unlike how they normally do the event, this particular one was a more intimate, much smaller event, that had only 60 of the friends and supporters and sponsors of the brand in attendance.

Wizkid signs Legendury Beatz to Star Boy Entertainment Now

Wizzy is putting together a strong production unit for his Star Boy label.

The Nigerian Pop has announced the signing of Lagos based music production duo Mutay and Zei better known as Legendury Beatz.

The producers are made up of two brothers Uzezi Oniko (Zei) and Okiemute Oniko (Mutay). They are alumni of the University of Lagos and credited with making some of the biggest hits of the past two years having worked with the likes of Wizkid himself (Azonto) and the EME crew (Baddest boy), Reminisce (2 mussh), Mo’Cheddah (Ko ma roll), Brymo (Ara), Illbliss (Emi ni baller), Tilla man (Ko ma roll).

Wizzy signed his first artiste, Maleek Berry, a UK based producer, only few days ago.

Why Empress Njamah is still single

I’m gonna say this alright; I don’t care how people take it, the days when marriages were sweet and all beautiful are no more. If you listen to how your parents got married and how those days it was sweet, it’s not like that anymore. I’ve escorted a lot of people into marriages, I won’t say I’ve escorted them out but I’ve witnessed them come out of it. So psychologically it’s not good for people and then being what we are, a lot of people think because she’s this, because she has that I don’t think I will be able to handle them. A lot of people can’t stand an industrious woman especially if she’s doing well. It’s the mentality of the people. If a man looks at me, I’m a car freak alright. I have five cars and I’m not doing it because I’m trying to show off, a lot of people don’t even know that they are my cars.But I’m trying to be honest with you and I’m always trying to say it the way it is, not minding whatever.
